About the position

The Food & Beverage Sales Executive Team Leader at Target is responsible for ensuring a consistent experience for guests by managing food and beverage operations. This includes overseeing product freshness, inventory accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. The role involves leading a team to deliver exceptional guest service and driving sales growth through effective management of department operations. The position requires knowledge of food and beverage business fundamentals, guest service standards, and the ability to create a guest-obsessed culture. The team leader will also be responsible for workload planning, team development, and maintaining relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth.
  • Model guest service standards and lead the team to deliver a fresh, full, and food-safe area.
  • Drive a culture centered in food safety and train the team on standards.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience.
  • Manage Food & Beverage backroom and sales floor areas.
  • Oversee workload planning and scheduling in partnership with Team Leaders.
  • Build relationships with direct to store vendors.
  • Validate and maintain food in-stocks and follow up on execution of business plans.
  • Manage a team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards.
  • Develop and coach team members to elevate their skills.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food and beverage business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage conflict and lead others.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
