About the position

The Executive Team Leader Human Resources (Assistant Manager HR) at Target is responsible for leading HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Lead and create a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and modeling inclusive behaviors.
  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth and profitability.
  • Plan, lead, and follow-up on organizational and operational change.
  • Anticipate and identify changes in unique store trends and assess competition.
  • Champion a culture where teams love to work and guests love to shop.
  • Build teams committed to continuous learning and guest-service excellence.
  • Support leadership in ensuring equitable experiences and promoting a culture of inclusivity.
  • Engage and educate store team on community initiatives and volunteerism.
  • Develop a team of HR Experts and Team Leaders to solve problems and engage team members.
  • Effectively plan and manage team operational and cyclical programs related to culture and benefits.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage conflict.
  • Ability to relate well with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
