Responsibilities

• Manage the sales and underwriting process for inland marine insurance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers.

• Develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the team.
• Provide effective account stewardship from strategic planning to operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of commercial inland marine production underwriting experience for Executive Underwriter title.
• 3+ years of commercial inland marine production underwriting experience for Senior Underwriter title.
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking skills to solve business problems and propose solutions.
• High energy self-starter with resilience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong time, organizational, and desk management skills.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering outcomes.
