Responsibilities

• Underwrite business through appointed wholesale brokers across various industries.
• Collaborate with other underwriters and leaders to provide optimal coverage solutions for clients.
• Analyze data and employ critical thinking skills to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in interactions with stakeholders.
• Challenge the status quo and contribute to innovative underwriting practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 3+ years of Commercial Auto underwriting experience, particularly with Trucking risks.
• Experience with rating fundamentals and underwriting processes.
• Experience working with wholesale brokers is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to think analytically about business problems and propose effective solutions.
• High energy self-starter with resilience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
