About the position

The Executive Vice President of Creative Marketing at Type A Studios is a pivotal role responsible for driving marketing strategies, brand development, and overall growth within the entertainment industry. This position requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in creative marketing, who will shape the company's creative direction and enhance its brand presence through innovative strategies and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative vision and marketing strategies to promote our brand, products, and services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all marketing campaigns, including paid media, content marketing, and social media.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define the overall creative direction of the business.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry, specifically related to media services, and leverage them to drive innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts with key industry influencers, digital platforms, media agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to the executive team.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, digital marketing trends, and competitor activities, incorporating relevant insights into our marketing strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, cultivating relationships and driving business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, design, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a creative leadership role within a marketing agency, movie studio, entertainment company, or similar environment.
  • Established track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and achieving business objectives.
  • Robust understanding of the entertainment industry, including film, television, music, gaming, or related sectors.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve results.
  • Superior project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
