About the position

The Executive Vice President of Marketing at DebtBlue will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role involves overseeing all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, content, product marketing, and customer engagement, while collaborating closely with sales, product, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of delivering results and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the company's overall marketing strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Spearhead marketing initiatives to position DebtBlue as an industry leader and enhance brand reputation.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and industry trends.
  • Shape and oversee the brand's voice, positioning, and identity across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Drive product adoption and customer engagement through impactful messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies to optimize acquisition, retention, and conversion across channels.
  • Establish a data-driven approach to demand generation and optimize campaigns.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for marketing initiatives.
  • Present marketing performance and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Work closely with other members of the executive team to align on company strategy and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 8 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling marketing teams in high-growth companies.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, brand management, product marketing, and customer segmentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing strategies and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of executive-level presentations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and pivot marketing strategies as needed.
