About the position

ABA Centers of America is a healthcare innovator experiencing steady growth while revolutionizing the autism care field. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to our clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. We are currently in 9 states with over 30 clinical service areas, and our roadmap will bring us to more than 50 clinical service areas over the next 12-24 months. We have the resources and talent usually found at a more mature organization, including fully staffed teams to support marketing, IT, accounting, and clinic growth. As the Executive Vice President of Operations, you will be at the forefront of critical business decisions and development. The EVP of Operations will oversee all current regions with the potential to support additional areas in the future. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will help us grow and successfully operate our centers. The EVP of Operations is responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing the performance within all regions while working cross-functionally with other department heads to ensure optimal efficiency. You will conduct business operations in alignment with our mission, vision, and core values, oversee performance, strategic growth, regulatory compliance, and insurance accreditation needs of the centers within each region. You will also manage overall operations across all regions with an effective business strategy and strategic direction for each center, collaborating with the C-Suite and direct reports to develop and implement plans for building operational infrastructure designed to accommodate the rapid growth of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business operations in alignment with mission, vision, and core values.
  • Oversee all performance, strategic growth, regulatory compliance/licensing, and insurance accreditation needs of the centers within each region.
  • Manage overall operations across all regions with an effective business strategy and strategic direction for each center.
  • Collaborate with the C-Suite and direct reports to develop and implement plans for building operational infrastructure (systems, processes, and personnel) designed to accommodate the rapid growth of our organization.
  • Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and scalable processes.
  • Monitor and report each center's financial performance, operational efficiency, clinical quality, and strategic growth of services.
  • Oversee and manage operating metrics and key performance indicators established for the region and individual centers, including team-member recruitment, new client intake, scheduled treatment hours, scheduled billable hours for clinicians, and other operational and financial measures.
  • Oversee and review missed-services reports and work with regional VPs to manage variance from scheduled hours.
  • Participate in oversight for client care, staff retention, and staff performance.
  • Coordinate leadership training for regional VPs of Operations and Executive Directors across all regions.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Directors and Director of Training & Professional Development to monitor clinical quality metrics, schedule training sessions, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Convene regularly scheduled one-on-one meetings with regional VPs of Operations to develop, communicate, and implement growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with functional departments (Clinical, Admissions, Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resources, Training & Professional Development, and Billing) to ensure that management teams are properly supported and that the regional teams are providing critical information and deliverables back to the functional groups.
  • Participate in the development of strong relationships with potential referral sources through community outreach efforts.
  • Demonstrate the company's cultural values, fostering positive, inspiring, and healthy working relationships to enhance the performance of the regional management team.

Requirements

  • MBA required
  • 10+ years of operations experience
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Demonstrated track record of financial success and exemplary clinical care
  • Multi-state experience, proven experience as an EVP of Operations or similar role preferred
  • Willingness to travel 75% for site visits within regions
  • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
