About the position

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a dynamic Executive Vice President of Sales to lead growth initiatives during a transitional phase. This C-Suite role is pivotal in driving innovation and delivering exceptional results across multiple states, particularly in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in sales management within the healthcare and hospice sectors, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish partnerships with ACOs, Regional Hospital systems, and Nursing Facilities.
  • Develop new growth markets and enhance managed care presence as the company expands geographically.
  • Create strategic sales plans, including market identification and competitive analysis.
  • Implement innovative sales strategies and track metrics and reporting.
  • Develop and motivate Hospice Regional Sales teams.
  • Manage the recruitment and interview process for hospice sales personnel.
  • Ensure sales activities and quotas are achieved by the Hospice Sales Teams.
  • Oversee initial orientation and ongoing training for Hospice Sales Teams.
  • Develop and monitor the sales budget.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate sales updates to top management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of senior management experience in sales and marketing.
  • Proven success in leading effective sales teams across multiple states.
  • Experience in hospice care and healthcare administration preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and maintain relationships with accounts.
  • Experience with CRM programs.
