The Executive Vice President Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations will build and maintain a comprehensive strategy for fixed income investors, and stay abreast of developments in banking as it relates to the portfolio. As the EVP Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations, you will oversee all operational activities to ensure efficient and effective execution in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Executive VP Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations will be responsible for fixed income investor relations, focusing on relationship development with institutional investors, including current and prospective investors in PennyMac issuances such as MSR term notes, CRT term notes, and private label securitizations. You will manage structured products rating agency relationships and monitor and synthesize economic and market data to help inform house views on macroeconomic trends, housing trends, housing finance trends, interest rates, and credit spreads. Additionally, you will direct corporate strategic initiatives that impact capital markets and work with senior leadership of multiple departments (Production, Servicing, Finance, IT, etc.) to drive initiatives to completion, such as preparation for private label securitization. Enhancing existing and developing new reporting across Capital Markets will be a key focus, with an emphasis on greater timeliness and usefulness of reporting, and dissemination of that reporting throughout the broader enterprise. Other related duties may be required and assigned, and you will be expected to demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with institutional investors, including current and prospective investors in Pennymac issuances.
  • Manage structured products rating agency relationships.

  • Direct corporate strategic initiatives that impact capital markets and collaborate with senior leadership across multiple departments to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Enhance existing and develop new reporting across Capital Markets, focusing on timeliness and usefulness of reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience working in capital markets and investor relations in the banking industry, including interaction with investors and/or other third parties.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and accounting, along with knowledge of regulatory and tax issues that drive funding and hybrid capital structures.
