Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient exams, diagnostic procedures, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Managing client communications, including follow-ups, take-home instructions, and post-op care.
• Supporting exotics procedures and maintaining detailed, accurate records.
• Taking ownership of inventory management, ensuring supplies are stocked and ready.
• Learning and mastering advanced skills like central line placement, arterial blood gas sampling, and chemotherapy protocols.
• Collaborating with a compassionate, skilled team to provide exceptional care.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, including small animal anesthesia (required).
• Veterinary Technology degree or equivalent; CVT preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility, dependability, responsibility, and excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with exotic animal care.
