About the position
The Expanded Duties Dental Assistant at Complete Dental of Easton plays a crucial role in providing effective dental services while ensuring patient comfort and education. Responsibilities
- Support the clinical treatment care of patients.
- Sustain patient comfort and educate them on dental procedures.
- Manage clinical supplies and maintain the dentist's schedule.
- Organize and maintain lab equipment.
- Take and develop X-rays.
- Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.
- Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
- Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
Requirements
- Valid EFDA Certification certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and good manual dexterity.
- Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs.
- Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Dental assisting school certificate is a plus.
- Experience in organizational skills.
