About The Position

The Expanded Learning Program Instructor at Bay Area Community Resources is a part-time role focused on leading academic, physical, and enrichment activities for youth in an afterschool setting. The instructor will mentor up to 20 students, fostering a safe and supportive environment while promoting learning and development. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and youth development, providing a stepping stone towards a career in education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an Associate's degree, or 48 or more college units.
• Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance.
• Available Monday through Friday for 21 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm.
• Ability to reliably commute to El Cerrito.
• Commitment to social justice and leadership.
• Passionate about learning and youth development for K-12.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
