About the position

The Expediter/Delivery Buyer II at Honda Aero, Inc. is responsible for executing tactical and strategic buying activities to ensure timely delivery and readiness of parts for manufacturing, engine assembly, and maintenance repair operations (MRO). This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project goals and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for manufacturing, engine assembly, MRO, and facility needs.
• Problem-solve and make decisions to support hardware disposition and expedite processes for timely delivery.
• Initiate and evaluate requests for quotations (RFQs) and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Award business based on quality, cost, and delivery terms.
• Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to achieve process improvement goals.
• Support internal and external customers with process changes and project-related items.
• Assist team members in understanding and following established processes.

Requirements

• Experience in tactical and strategic buying activities.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to evaluate supplier proposals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills to address delivery and supply chain issues.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and MRO processes.
