About The Position

HP is seeking a Governance Program Manager to lead the experience governance office under the Chief Customer Officer. This role is pivotal in driving best practices across a diverse digital portfolio that caters to various end users. The ideal candidate will be an organized and collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. The Governance Program Manager will engage with teams across HP to discover, capture, and drive consensus on user experience policies, ultimately publishing these policies for the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to interact with multiple disciplines within the company, enhancing the overall user experience through effective governance practices. The Governance Program Manager will support the three pillars of advocacy: community, content, and connection. Responsibilities include creating and conducting training sessions on digital governance, empowering the governance community through effective internal communication, and driving consensus among stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding policies and best practices. The role also involves writing best practices and policies for publication on the governance website, tracking compliance with these policies, and fostering relationships within the user community. Additionally, the manager will host governance office hours, contribute to internal and external events, and synthesize governance feedback to improve practices and policies. This position requires a proactive approach to collaboration, proposing improvements, and sharing feedback to contribute positively to the team and culture. The Governance Program Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the governance landscape at HP, ensuring that user experience is enhanced through well-defined policies and practices.
