About the position

The Experience Manager (EM) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive sales growth in retail and services. This role encompasses overseeing salon services, boutiques, and retail sales while ensuring compliance with company standards. The EM is accountable for metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and plays a crucial role in fostering a positive team culture and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of stylists, estheticians, and guest coordinators to achieve sales and service goals.
• Drive company profitability through operational excellence and top-line sales growth.
• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals related to services and retail sales.
• Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent for the salon and boutiques.
• Support professional development and training for associates to enhance sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies and procedures, including the Infection Control Policy.
• Utilize company tools to manage scheduling and store workload effectively.
• Communicate business trends and operational challenges to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Cosmetology license and/or cosmetology management license as required by state law.
• 2-3+ years of relevant retail management experience.
• Proven success in driving top-line sales and managing payroll budgets.
• Advanced competency in salon services and guest experience management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and motivating teams.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft Office.
