We're looking for an experienced A/V Technician Apprentice to join our Charlottesville Retail Store. Responsibilities

• Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including but not limited to, televisions, projectors, sound systems, and smart home automation systems.
• Perform cable management, routing, and concealment for a clean and professional appearance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with A/V systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific installation needs and provide personalized solutions.
• Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of their audiovisual systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Proven experience as an A/V Technician in residential and commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, cabling, and system integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with home automation systems (e.g., Control4, Crestron) is a plus.
• CEDIA CIT certification is a plus.
