About the position

The Experienced Alzheimer's Caregiver position at Hallmark Homecare is designed for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to clients with Alzheimer's and other needs. Caregivers will work independently, matching with clients in their local area, and will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to clients with Alzheimer's and other needs.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and medication reminders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports as required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional caregiving experience, especially with Alzheimer's.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Expertise in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Compassion and empathy in caregiving philosophy.
