About the position

As a Leasing Professional at InterSolutions, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the leasing process, ensuring that all interactions are positive and informative. You will be the first point of contact for potential residents, greeting them warmly and providing tours of the property while assessing their housing needs and preferences. Your ability to connect with people and understand their requirements will be key to closing leads and retaining residents. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and assisting new residents with all necessary leasing paperwork, including lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and conducting employment and credit checks. You will also handle the collection of security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins. Clear communication of lease and community policies to both new and current residents will be essential to ensure a smooth leasing process. Following up with leads and prospects who did not lease will be part of your responsibilities, as well as ensuring that apartments are move-in ready by conducting inspections and making any last-minute touches as needed. You will also be encouraged to seek out new residents through creative marketing techniques and manage the lease renewal process. Timely responses to all calls, emails, and site visits will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads
  • Accurately prepare and assist new residents with all leasing paperwork (i.e. lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and employment and credit checks)
  • Collect security deposits, rent and any other charges associated with resident move-ins

  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate
  • Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
  • Manage the lease renewal process
  • Respond timely to all calls, emails, and site visits

Requirements
