About the position

The Experienced Application Engineer at BlueHalo plays a crucial role in enhancing network security and enterprise infrastructure services. This position focuses on developing and maintaining an Analytic CI/CD environment using advanced technologies, particularly within AWS. The engineer will work collaboratively to innovate and improve core libraries, ensuring high-quality analytics and visual representations that boost service performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain an Analytic CI/CD environment on containerized platforms using a Python-based analytic library.
• Innovate and maintain the core library, enhancing reliability engineering and pioneering new capabilities using Python within an AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to extract and analyze relevant information from diverse data sources.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Python development and a robust understanding of AWS environments.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD and Docker for continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong background in library development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, advanced analytics, data management, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity analytics, or large-scale data repository analytics.
• Additional experience with Elasticsearch/Splunk, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Grafana is highly desirable.
• Education and experience criteria: Master's Degree in a technical field plus 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's Degree in a technical field plus 8 years of relevant experience, Associate Degree in a technical field plus 10 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma plus 12 years of relevant experience.
