About the position

Premier KIA of Carlsbad is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-volume service department. This role involves performing vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring that all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, recall work, and installations according to experience and certifications.
• Conduct automotive service including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, heating, A/C, exhaust system, and more.
• Maintain a neat and clean shop area and account for tools.
• Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications.

Requirements

• Automotive Repair Technician experience is required.
• KIA & Dealership Tech, Mechanic experience is preferred.
• Certified Technicians preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with the latest automotive technologies and working knowledge of shop equipment.
• Reliable with a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with KIA vehicles is preferred.
• Certification in automotive repair is preferred.
