Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical, in-home care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults
- Assist with hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Perform meal preparation and diet monitoring, including grocery shopping
- Assist with medication reminders
- Conduct light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Transport clients to errands, appointments, and shopping
Requirements
- A dedication and passion for serving seniors
- 1+ years of hands-on experience preferred, either in a private home or facility
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass state/nationwide background check, fingerprinting, and drug screen
- Must have a valid Driver's License and provide proof of current auto insurance
- Ability to transfer patients and provide mobility assistance
- Perform all personal care and hygiene assistance functions
- Cheerful personality and a positive attitude
