LC Staffing is seeking Experienced Carpenters to join a high-end, custom home construction company located in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana. As a Residential Carpenter, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex carpentry tasks, ensuring that all projects adhere to rigorous standards of quality and excellence. In this role, you will perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including finish carpentry, which encompasses siding, flooring, and built-ins. You will contribute to the layout, calculations, and installation of framing, flooring, walls, and roof systems. Additionally, you will design and install fitted wooden shelves, cabinets, and drywall, as well as install fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks, and hinges. A key part of your responsibilities will involve reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by architects and taking precise measurements to prepare the site for construction. You will also be expected to follow all standards for kitchens and bathrooms in both new and remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish carpentry including siding, flooring, and built-ins.
• Contribute to the layout, calculations, and installation of framing, flooring, walls, and roof systems.
• Design and install fitted wooden shelves, cabinets, and drywall.
• Install fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks, and hinges.
• Read and interpret designs to meet specifications set by architects.
• Take measurements to prepare the site for construction.
• Follow all standards for kitchens and bathrooms in new and remodeling projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry.
• At least 2 years of trim carpentry experience.
• Ability to remain clean and organized at all times.
• Ability to read blueprints and written specifications.
• Must supply own tools including tool belt, hammer, square, utility knife, pencils, Skilsaw, level, chalk line, tape measure, speed square, and wood chisel.
