About the position

Olsson is seeking an Experienced Engineer to join our Data Center Civil Team, where you will be involved in some of the firm's largest and most complex projects. This role is pivotal as you will serve as a project manager on certain projects while taking on the role of lead design engineer on others. Your responsibilities will include preparing planning and design documents, conducting process design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards. You will also have the opportunity to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts, acting as an advisor on complex projects. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will coordinate with various Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants to ensure project success. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you may be required to travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings. Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager on select projects and lead design engineer on others.
  • Prepare planning and design documents for data center projects.

  • Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants.
  • Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 5 years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D software.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team.
