About The Position
Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking companies in the world. As an Experienced Engineer on our Data Center Civil Team, you will be involved in the firm's largest and most complex projects, particularly focusing on the design of hyperscale data center campuses throughout the U.S. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on engineering-driven projects that are critical to society's technological infrastructure. Our clients value the relationship we build with them, allowing us to contribute significantly to the connected community through our designs. In this position, you will serve as a project manager on some projects and as the lead design engineer on others. Your responsibilities will include preparing planning and design documents, conducting design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards. You may also lead quality assurance and quality control efforts and act as an advisor on complex projects. Coordination with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you may be required to travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.
