About the position

The Regional Business Specialist at BrightView is responsible for managing payroll and accounts payable for multiple branches, ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices and payroll for hundreds of team members. This role involves developing strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Executing accounts payable and document processing
• Interacting with branches and cross-functional teams on accounts payable matters
• Identifying areas of process improvement and leading implementation of process changes
• Ensuring all invoices are processed in accordance with documented SOX controls
• Processing payroll according to company policy and resolving any payroll-related issues
• Reviewing and screening branch timecard entries for accuracy
• Entering data into the payroll system accurately and timely
• Maintaining positive relationships with branch offices and company suppliers for accurate client invoicing
• Preparing timely month-end closing activities
• Demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or payroll
• Experience with JDE or Oracle
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
