About the position

West Monroe is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our Life Sciences practice, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-value transformation programs that address the strategic challenges faced by clients in the Life Sciences industry. This position involves direct client engagement, project management, and business development, requiring a blend of technical and interpersonal skills to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency.
• Facilitate client workshops focused on the future state of the Healthcare Industry and design future state business processes and requirements.
• Support detailed requirements gathering and lead package evaluations against industry-leading practices in the Life Sciences Industry.
• Develop client-ready communications to facilitate decision-making, communicate status, mitigate risk, or resolve issues.
• Participate in the creation of project-related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models.
• Work closely with engagement management to reduce project risk and establish highly functioning joint project teams.
• Assist in the business development process by developing project approaches and proposals.
• Contribute to practice development by assisting in the development of tools, methodologies, and techniques used in client assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 2-6 years of experience in a team-based consulting environment with external clients in the Healthcare Industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in processes related to organizational transformation, process improvement, or product development.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to work with clients and present to C-level executives.
• Good presentation and business development skills; able to assist in selling work to clients.
• Experience in developing work plans, project scopes, and pricing estimates.
• Strong project management and leadership skills to manage concurrent projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Life Sciences industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
