About the position

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety and enforce laws.
• Respond to emergency calls and incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct investigations into crimes and incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
• Make arrests and process individuals in accordance with legal procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of incidents and investigations.

Requirements

• Must be currently certified by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission.
• At least one year of full-time experience as a Police Officer in the State of Maryland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the community.
• Ability to work in high-stress situations and make quick decisions.
• Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures.
