About the position
The Experienced Faith Writer will collaborate closely with the influential pastor of Living Word Christian Center to create impactful and spirit-filled books that communicate the church's vision. This part-time or contract role is designed for someone with a strong Christian faith and a calling for writing, who can produce theologically sound and engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to develop book ideas and write manuscripts.
- Ensure theologically sound, consistent, and engaging content.
- Conduct background research for biblical and cultural context.
- Participate in occasional meetings to align on project goals.
Requirements
- Deep faith and calling to Christian writing.
- 5+ years of proven writing experience in Christian book writing.
- Strong understanding of Christian teachings.
- Great communication skills to capture the pastor's voice and engage readers.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, or related field.
- Familiarity with church culture and large congregational audiences.
