Full-time - Mid Level
Los Angeles, CA

About the position

Rad Cine Films, an established indie film production company based in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Film Editor to join our team on a project-by-project basis. We have a slate of films lined up for editing, with an expected output of 3 to 7 films per year. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting indie projects, particularly in the action and horror genres. The selected editor will be responsible for editing films that are set to be distributed on various streaming platforms, leveraging our established relationships with major distributors such as Lionsgate, Peacock, BET, Starz, and Paramount+. The immediate need is for an editor to start work on an action film that has just wrapped. The editing timeline for this project is projected to be 4 to 5 weeks. The editor will work with a locked edit, incorporating sound effects and music beds that will be provided. It is important to note that the editor will not be responsible for sound mixing, color grading, or visual effects, as these elements will be handled separately. We are looking for candidates who are proficient in DaVinci Resolve, as this is the only software we will be using for our editing process. This is a flat fee position, with compensation starting at $3,500 per film. We are specifically looking for local talent in Los Angeles, and we ask that only principals apply, as we are not accepting inquiries from recruiters at this time.
