About the position

Concordia Properties is a growing owner-operated property management company seeking an experienced Floating Leasing Agent to manage apartment communities in High Point and Burlington, NC. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive disposition, conscientious, and possess strong sales skills. This position requires experience with distressed properties and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates are preferred, as this role involves interacting with a diverse clientele. As a Floating Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for traveling between properties, ensuring that leasing and marketing efforts are effectively executed, and maintaining high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction. In this role, you will monitor and direct marketing efforts, track traffic, and pursue leads to qualify prospective residents. You will meet with prospects, show apartments enthusiastically, and emphasize selling points to create a sense of urgency. Additionally, you will qualify and approve applications, ensuring that the leasing process is smooth and efficient. A proactive approach to customer service is essential, as you will be resolving resident complaints and acting as a liaison between residents and maintenance staff to address maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and vacant units will be part of your responsibilities, as well as coordinating with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to complete necessary repairs. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A valid Driver's License is mandatory, and the ability to work weekends as needed is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous experience with apartment leasing.
  • Strong salesmanship skills.
  • Ability to work weekends as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and manage prospect/resident relations.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience with Yardi property management software.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
