About the position

The Front Desk Coordinator at Dogtopia is responsible for managing the front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for working with dogs. The coordinator will handle various administrative tasks, greet customers, and assist with sales and billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and creating pet parent charts
  • Greeting all customers that walk in or out of Dogtopia
  • Managing staffing call-outs and replacement shifts
  • Processing payments and billing
  • Understanding and promoting Dogtopia's retail items
  • Participating and leading topics in team meetings

Requirements

  • Experience as a front desk coordinator, receptionist, sales associate, or hostess
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to make/take phone calls while assisting customers
