About the position
The Glass Guru of Hendersonville is seeking an experienced Glazier/Installer to provide residential and light commercial glass services. The role involves installation, maintenance, and customer service, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, as training is available for those with the right attitude.
Responsibilities
- Inspect job materials for correct size, style, and damage.
- Load required materials and tools into installation vehicles.
- Communicate with the office and customers regarding installation schedules.
- Validate work to be completed and manage customer expectations upon arrival.
- Install products and troubleshoot any on-site issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of the customer's home/business during and after installation.
- Educate customers on product care, maintenance, and warranty information.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of residential glass installation experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs unassisted.
- Mechanical knowledge and time management skills.
