About the position

The Hospice Liaison / Account Manager at Silverado Hospice is responsible for conducting outside sales to potential and existing referral sources, promoting the hospice services, and generating qualified referrals to contribute to the census development. This role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing dignified end-of-life care and is comfortable working in various community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outside sales calls to potential and existing referral sources on behalf of Silverado Hospice, meeting sales quota and conversion ratio requirements.
  • Generate qualified, professional referrals that contribute to the census development.
  • Promote and position Silverado's programs and services to medical professionals, civic, and community through regular visits.
  • Introduce and sell hospice services to industry professionals, the community, and individuals and/or families.
  • Manage a sales territory and contact database effectively.
  • Generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • At least two years experience of outside sales within the healthcare space (Hospice, Home Health or Senior Living) is required.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to drive to patient's location.
  • Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.
  • Must have a valid Licensed Vocational/Practical Nursing license.
