About the position

As an Experienced Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests in a hotel setting. This position requires a strong focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for executing various cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to hotel standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards as required by scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day's use.
• Clean rooms with the door closed unless requested otherwise by the guest.
• Report all missing items from the room to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for 'Lost and Found' according to the standards.

Requirements

• 1 year of cleaning experience (preferred).
• 1 year of hotel experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
