About the position

The Experienced Irrigation/Sprinkler Technician at Soundview Landscape Irrigation is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation sprinkler systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service. The technician will work in various beautiful gardens in the Seattle area, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of irrigation sprinkler systems including spring activations, repairs, and winterizations.
• Install new sprinkler systems, which involves digging and plumbing with PVC pipe and glue.
• Maintain a tidy job site and restore any disturbed landscaping to its original condition.
• Demonstrate reliability by showing up on time and ready to work each day.
• Utilize hand tools effectively, including pipe cutters, wrenches, screwdrivers, shovels, picks, and drills.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in irrigation or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Good customer service skills, including positive attitude and effective communication.

Nice-to-haves
