This full-time position is ideal for a motivated individual with 2-3+ years of experience in litigation support. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from the initial case inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough legal research, drafting and proofreading various legal documents, and managing case files to ensure that all aspects of the case are meticulously prepared and organized. In this fast-paced and professional environment, you will work closely with clients, witnesses, and experts, providing excellent care and service. Your ability to communicate effectively with defense counsel, judges, insurance adjusters, and medical providers will be essential. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Outlook, and being bilingual in Spanish is a plus. You will be expected to handle a caseload efficiently, meet deadlines, and assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions. Your duties will also involve organizing and managing case files, preparing and filing court documents in compliance with court rules, and coordinating depositions and court appearances. Additionally, you will assist in trial preparation by creating exhibits, organizing evidence, and managing trial logistics.
