About the position
We are immediately hiring for an experienced Live-in Caregiver to join our Home Instead family at the Itasca office. This role involves providing compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The caregiver will live with the client for consecutive 3 or 4 days, offering support in daily activities and maintaining a safe living environment.
Responsibilities
- Live with the client and have your own sleeping quarters.
- Offer a friendly smile and a listening ear.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow care plans.
- Help with transportation, errands, and appointments.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Assist with hygiene and grooming care.
Requirements
- 1 year of caregiving experience required.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Driver's License required.
- Experience with hospice care and care plans.
