About the position

Mark Thomas is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated marketing professional in the A/E/C industry, responsible for organizing and developing proposals for public infrastructure projects. The position focuses on producing winning proposals and targeted messaging that resonates with clients, requiring collaboration with technical team members to gather and present relevant information under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates internal and external deadline-driven qualification packages and proposals.
  • Coordinates marketing materials, resumes, project abstracts, proposals, and presentations.
  • Researches and prepares qualifications content, project descriptions, and staff bios.
  • Edits technical proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and targeted messaging.
  • Assists with the development of other marketing materials, including award submittals, brochures, and other collateral.
  • Maintains marketing information databases, including updating resumes, project descriptions, client contact information, and text libraries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or English preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-5+ years of experience preparing proposals and qualification packages.
  • A/E/C industry experience required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with client service and a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with proposal editing and content development.
