About the position

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects across the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on large-scale mechanical systems installations for commercial and industrial clients. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple mechanical construction projects, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Lead project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being completed to specification and address any project challenges.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience with project management software and construction scheduling tools.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
