About the position
We are seeking detail-oriented Medical Assistants to join our healthcare team at OC Medical Group. The role involves working closely with physicians to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring efficient and comprehensive medical records. Candidates with experience using EPIC are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Take vitals
- Medication reconciliation
- Chart/records preparation
- Perform spirometry and pulmonary function testing
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office required
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
