About the position
MSI Mold Builders of Cedar Rapids, IA is looking to hire a full-time Mold Designer for our Greenville, SC facility. This manufacturing design position earns a competitive pay of $56,000 - $75,000. Responsibilities
- Utilize Solid Modeling CAD software (Creo or Solidworks) to create models, drawings, and bill of materials for plastic injection molds.
- Complete injection and structural foam mold designs from OEM supplied part models.
- Design molds that consist of parting line splits, cooling, ejection, and mechanisms that are cost-effective for MSI to manufacture and robust for customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Creo or Solidworks preferred.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passionate about safety.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
