About the position

The Motor Vehicle Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales of new and used motorcycles at Adamec Harley-Davidson. This role involves engaging with customers, utilizing a structured sales process, and collaborating with the sales team to meet sales objectives. The associate will also promote additional products and services, ensuring a comprehensive customer experience while maintaining dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Model the values and guiding principles of the dealership.
• Work with the Sales Manager and team to meet monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Greet each customer using the 'CUSTOM' sales process.
• Communicate, cultivate, and document customer activity using the CRM.
• Work to attain new and used vehicle sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager.
• Cross-sell additional parts, accessories, HOG memberships, F&I products, warranty & service contracts.
• Maintain profit margin objectives for all vehicle sales.
• Ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
• Handle warranty items efficiently, including tagging and proper storage.
• Introduce new customers to service, parts, general merchandise, and F&I department personnel.
• Present product features, benefits, and advantages over competing brands to customers.
• Participate in training related to the dealership, customer service, and sales.
• Support and promote the Help Sell and Motorcycle Referral programs.
• Act as an Ambassador for the dealership and the Harley-Davidson brand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in a sales environment, particularly with the Harley-Davidson brand.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated closing skills.
• Flexibility to meet seasonal demands and events.
• Valid driver license with motorcycle endorsement and a clean driving record.
