About the position
The Motor Coach Dispatcher is a vital role within our Dispatch Team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of driver services in our expanding motor coach business across Phoenix and Tucson. This position involves managing both scheduled and unscheduled activities, maintaining effective communication with drivers, clients, and mechanics, and upholding the company's high operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clear communication with key personnel to ensure successful completion of assignments.
- Efficiently manage runs, including assigning drivers for unscheduled routes.
- Handle multiple phone lines with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist drivers in enhancing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with affiliated companies to meet service demands.
- Document and address operational issues or challenges as they arise.
- Gain familiarity with common destinations, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Disperse trip sheets and manage driver confirmations.
- Respond promptly and flexibly to scheduling issues and daily challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience (Required)
- Work on location/In-person in Phoenix, AZ 85034 (Required)
- Flexibility for after-hours emergencies (as needed)
