About the position

Lipton Toyota, a prominent South Florida Toyota dealer, is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who possess a proven track record in automotive sales and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As a New Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to meet aggressive sales goals. You will play a crucial role in desking deals, closing sales, and overcoming objections, while also monitoring the performance of the sales teams to ensure they meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, ups, and closes. In this position, you will assist in setting monthly sales goals for your team and ensure that all customer leads are logged effectively, with follow-ups managed through our CRM system. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be key to your success in this role. We are looking for a self-starter who can hold themselves accountable and achieve goals with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the automotive market and an in-depth understanding of all sales departments, along with excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills. Responsibilities

  • Provide support in desking deals, closing deals, and overcoming objections.
  • Monitor the performance of sales teams.
  • Ensure all staff are trained in accordance with training programs provided.
  • Assist managers in setting aggressive and monthly sales goals for their teams.
  • Ensure all customer leads are logged along with effective follow-up for all potential buyers by monitoring the CRM system.
  • Ensure that all sales teams meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, ups, and closes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation/closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Consistent and stable work history.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the market and an in-depth understanding of all sales departments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
