About the position

The Nightshift Security Supervisor/Lead position at Fidelity Security Agency involves overseeing a team of security personnel during overnight shifts. The role includes training new staff, conducting inspections, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises. The supervisor will also be responsible for incident response and documentation, making it a critical role in maintaining security standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of security guards, including scheduling shifts, assigning patrols, and monitoring attendance.
• Train new security personnel on company policies, emergency response protocols, and customer service standards.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure all security equipment is operational and security personnel are equipped properly.
• Serve as the first point of contact for on-site incidents, coordinating initial response and notifying management as needed.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols of premises to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
• Prepare incident reports, maintain shift logs, and ensure accurate documentation of all security-related activities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support team development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or law enforcement training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in security or law enforcement, with prior supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to conduct de-escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and train junior security personnel.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for report writing and scheduling.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as required.
