About the position

The City of Shakopee is seeking an Experienced Part-Time Firefighter to respond to various emergency incidents, including fire, medical, rescue, and hazmat situations. This role involves participating in training and maintenance activities, as well as providing fire and safety education to the community. After completing the initial training, the firefighter will be expected to work scheduled shifts and respond to call-backs as needed.
