About the position

As an Experienced PCA Personal Care Assistant at ComForCare, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities that promote independence in their own homes. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to work morning, evening, night, or weekend shifts based on your availability. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care assistance, helping with mobility and transfers, and conducting range of motion exercises. You will also be responsible for meal planning, preparation, and feeding, as well as managing household needs effectively. In addition to these tasks, you will provide companionship and respite services for families, ensuring that our clients feel supported and cared for in their daily lives. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence in their homes.
  • Provide personal care assistance to clients.
  • Help clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Plan, prepare, and assist with feeding meals to clients.
  • Manage household needs effectively for clients.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for families.

Requirements

  • Prior professional experience as a CNA or PCA.
  • Valid driver's license and owned vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a national background check and drug test.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have own vehicle and driver's license.
