About the position

The Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal will support a growing law firm in Mission Valley, San Diego, specializing in personal injury and civil law. This full-time position requires a proactive individual with legal experience in personal injury law, who can manage various administrative and legal tasks while ensuring excellent client communication and case preparation.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones
• Scheduling / Calendaring
• Communicating with clients, doctors, and other business entities
• Opening cases
• Preparing files
• Data Entry
• Performing general clerical duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and mailing
• Preparing forms, pleadings, preparation of discovery and correspondence
• Preparing demands
• Attending hearings, meetings, depositions with attorney
• Preparing cases for Trial (beginning to end)
• Attending Marketing events (not mandatory)

Requirements

• Legal experience in Personal Injury/Civil law
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Paralegal Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently and with others with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable form of transportation
• Knowledge of preparing demands and discovery
• Experienced in Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe
