About the position

John Walsh Insurance Agency, an independent insurance agency located in Salem, MA, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager. This role is crucial for managing personal lines accounts and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. The Account Manager will be responsible for processing renewals and endorsements, maintaining accurate documentation in the agency management system, and quoting new accounts while rounding out existing accounts. The position requires a strong understanding of various insurance policy forms and coverage options, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients. In this role, the Account Manager will issue binders and process RTAs (Request for Action) efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in an insurance-related job or a similar position, along with experience using Applied Systems (TAM) or a similar agency management system. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is a thorough understanding of the Registry of Motor Vehicle procedures. An insurance license and/or relevant designations are preferred, which will enhance the candidate's qualifications for this position. The Account Manager will work full-time, Monday to Friday, with typical working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. This position is not remote, and candidates must be able to work in person at the agency's location in Salem, MA.
