Experienced Plumbing Apprentice

About the position

Duncan Plumbing Solutions is seeking a motivated and serious Plumbing Apprentice to join their established and growing service, repair, and remodel plumbing company. This position offers hands-on training and mentorship from industry leaders, along with classroom training to enhance professional development. The apprentice will assist licensed plumbers on various projects while working towards earning their Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master plumbing license.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with service, repair, and remodel tasks, including complex jobs
• Help plumbers keep a clean and organized work truck
• Restock trucks and prepare them for upcoming jobs
• Clean, organize, and restock the shop
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Registered apprentice with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (having a Drain Cleaning and/or Utilities endorsement is a plus)
• Strong willingness to learn, train, and build a career in plumbing
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Experience as a plumber's apprentice
• Familiarity with handheld and power tools
• Experience with water systems, drain, waste, and vent systems, gas systems, drain cleaning, and camera equipment preferred
• Positive attitude and motivated to grow
• Good customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to follow instructions
• Career-minded with a desire for long-term growth in the plumbing industry
• Strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug test, and pass a criminal background check
• Experience in residential service sales is a plus
• Ability to work well in a team
• Attend regular training and be serious about learning on the job
